# 用户注册后未验证邮箱会怎样？

`email_token_valid_hours` 管理员设置决定了用户验证其帐户或重置密码的时间范围。

如果用户未在指定时间内验证其帐户，他们收到的电子邮件中的令牌将过期。这意味着他们收到的用于激活帐户或重置密码的链接将不再有效，用户需要请求新的激活电子邮件或密码重置电子邮件。这将生成一个新的令牌并重新开始 `email_token_valid_hours` 设置定义的验证期。默认值为 48 小时。

可能还值得了解一下 `purge_unactivated_users_grace_period_days` 设置，该设置决定了在未激活帐户的用户被删除之前的天数。

此设置的默认值为 14 天，因此如果用户注册帐户但在 14 天内未激活，该帐户将被自动删除。

但是，可以根据论坛的需求调整此设置。如果将其设置为 0，则未激活的用户将永远不会被清除。

请注意，此设置不适用于员工 - 即使员工帐户在指定的宽限期内未激活，也不会被清除。
