It’s a short name for the category that is used in various places such as the URL for direct access (e.g. `https://meta.discourse.org/c/support`) and hashtag mentions (e.g. #Support). It can’t contain spaces or special characters. ---

So basically category slug is a “short name” for said category which is used in the web address (so that the Support category `https://meta.discourse.org/c/support` can be named support but have the link `https://meta.discourse.org/c/help-meh`). ---

Yes, but this does not address the most important question: _where can we get a hat like yours?_ Edit: also this is a typesetting term from when type used metal letters, hence slug. ---

So there is this “[bar](https://www.facebook.com/scartloclejer)” (if it can be called so). And one time I found that hat thrown on the floor in one of their storage rooms, took it and someone took some photos of me while wearing it. Warning: the hat is magical and makes one look way prettier in pictures than reality 🙂 ---
