I would like to do a live office hour in my discourse forum. Ideally the video would be the start of the topic and my students could post questions below it. Is Youtube live the simplest option? PS very sorry if this was explained in detail somewhere else. I searched but couldn’t find. ---

I think YouTube is probably the simplest option! The embed works quite nicely. Vimeo has a pretty good [live option](https://vimeo.com/live) too, we’re considering it as it offers a bit more customization and privacy options e.g. if you don’t want people to be able to click through and get a shareable URL as with YouTube. The main downside of Vimeo is it’s pricey so probably only makes sense when live video is a major part of what you do. ---
