# What MaxMind product do I buy to use their GeoIP Database with Discourse?

I need to add a MxMindDB license now.

However, I don’t know what to [buy](https://www.maxmind.com/en/home) when I look at their website.

Can anyone tell me?

You don’t need to buy anything; the free license suffices.
