# What’s the cool down for password resets?

Hi there,
Recently we had issues with mail and passwords and admin account passwords were forgotten - what is the cool down for password resets as I reset up mail and when I try and reset the password it states `You’ve performed this action too many times, please try again later. `

I think you’re hitting the `email-login-hour` (a max of 6 requests per hour) and `email-login-min` (a max of 3 requests per minute) rate limits.
