# When a topic is archived and like button pressed it shows notification

Hello,

When a topic is archived it removes the ability to like posts. However, the like icon still appears and can be pressed. This results in notifications like this. In total I pressed the like button 6 times and this is what the other user receives

My suggestion here would be to hide the like button on archived topics.
