# Wanneer gelokaliseerd, werken categorie-dropdownfilters in beide talen, maar slechts voor één

Is there a reason why I can use both `Bug` and `Fehler` to filter the category dropdown at latest, but the dropdown in the composer only works with the German word?

Het woord Bug wordt ook in het Duits veel gebruikt, heb je het misschien ook met andere Duitse/Engelse woorden geprobeerd?

Wat voor verschil maakt dat? Ik had verwacht dat ofwel in alle dropdowns beide termen zouden werken, ofwel dat in alle slechts één zou werken.
In werkelijkheid werken echter op /latest beide, in de selectie in de composer alleen Duits en hier bij het typen in de autocomplete alleen Engels.
Maar ja, ik had het probleem eerst bij #Dev > Translations en dat is niet vergelijkbaar met `Übersetzungen`.

Ik heb dit in zijn eigen onderwerp geëxtraheerd, omdat het goed is om het apart te volgen.
Aangezien het filter in het Duits werkt, denk ik dat het zinvol is om voorlopig Duits te gebruiken. Als de vertaling `Fehler` onjuist is, laat het me dan hier weten.

I also tried to reproduce the problem using Chinese.
Dropdown on /latest: I can use the translated and the real name of the category
✔ `错误`
✔ `bug`
Dropdown in the composer: The real name of the category doesn’t work:
✔ `错误`
❌ `bug`
Autocomplete in the composer: Only the real name of the category works
❌ `错误`
✔ `bug`

This is still the case:
At topic lists I can search for the name which matches what I currently see in the interface: “übersetzung”
But I can also search for the name I am used to, which is “translations”
Both result in #Contribute > Translations

But when I am creating a new topic, only the German term “übersetzungen” works

In contrast, while writing this post, the hashtag autocomplete only works with the English term.
There is no result for the German term.

My preferred solution would be that both languages work all the time, so I don’t have to think about my current interface language before entering a category. But if that’s not possible, it would be great if using the German name, which I currently see in my interface, would work in all places.
