# Where can I edit my footer?

_OK, I feel like I’m losing my mind, so please accept my apologies if I’m missing something obvious._

I was trying to edit the footer used on my site today. I could swear that there used to be settings for this under Admin → Customize → Text Content → and then something like “Bottom of the page”. These days, the closest thing I can find is under CSS/HTML → (My Customization) → then “Top” or “Footer”.

Unfortunately both “Top” and “Footer” are blank when I look at their settings. :sadpanda:

> **EDIT:** Even if I add something in “Footer” it doesn’t affect the Footer content already there.

Does anyone know where my footer is and how can I edit it? 🙂

If your footer was indeed in “Bottom of the page” it should be in the Footer tab of the CSS/HTML customization named “Migrated from Site Text”.

Ahh, it was actually under `</body>` in “Migrated from Site Text”. I didn’t realize both customizations could even be active so I didn’t bother to check. Thanks! 😄
