# Where did the Public Chat channels on Meta go?

This one I know the answer to. ✋ 🙂

The feedback channels for the ‘new’ features were naturally phased out as the features weren’t new any more. And the General channel was mainly being used for support requests that we felt were better off as topics, so we closed that one too:

As the channel is mainly being used for support requests that we feel would be better suited to topics, we've decided to close this channel off for now to concentrate the content back to the main boards.
