I think there is a new site dedicated to releases, but I can’t find it anywhere. When I look at Topics tagged release-notes there is no link to the new site. I look in the footer of the main site and the link to releases is just to blog posts.
https://releases.discourse.org is, for example, linked in the latest topic tagged with release-notes : January 2026 Releases
There is also Introducing releases.discourse.org.
Maybe this link could also be added to New to Discourse? Start here!
That’s far too hidden, in my opinion. I’m assuming this isn’t supposed to be a secret.
Why doesn’t the “Releases” link in the footer of the main page link there?
This seems like such a fundamental part of managing discourse that you shouldn’t have to hunt through blog posts or “New to Discourse” posts.
And why not have a link in the description of this tag, which is where I tried to look:
Or at least a pinned post directing people to the new site?
Hey @one1 good points – I’ll add the link to some of those suggested places.
