# Where To Place sitemap.xml?

Hi,
Where can I place my robots.txt and sitemap.xml? I went ahead and placed them in /var/discourse but they cannot be read by google or bing.

Discourse manages the sitemap, you can’t manually upload a file.

As I said you can’t upload a sitemap. There is a plugin:

필요하지 않다면 왜 존재하는 것인가요?
이 질문은 우연한 것이 아닙니다. 3개월간의 구글 테스트 이후 해당 페이지들이 다른 포럼 CMS와 비교했을 때 인덱싱이 잘 되지 않기 때문입니다. 이 현상의 원인은 무엇일 수 있을까요?

"다른 포럼 CMS"에 대해서는 확신할 수 없지만, 제 경험상 주제/게시물은 관리자가 인덱싱 여부를 결정하기도 전에, 즉 고작 몇 분 만에 인덱싱됩니다.
