# Which Ubuntu version

Hello,

I’m trying to install Discourse on DigitalOcean and i don’t know which Ubuntu version i should use.  
Do you have any tips for me on what i should use.

16.04 LTS or 18.04 LTS. Former is officially supported but latter seems to work fine - I just upgraded my two Production servers this weekend, no issues.
