# Whispers cannot be seen in Post Voting enabled categories

Hi, I am reporting here what I consider a bug affecting whispers in the [Discourse Post Voting](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-post-voting/227808) plugin.
1. When a thread has only one post, that is the Original Post, the whispers can be created, but cannot be seen. Not only that but they cannot be modified or deleted (even though they are listed in your activity personal tab)
2. When a thread has replies, by default the VOTES button is enabled, which prevents whispers to be displayed. Users must know they have to click on the ACTIVITY button to display the whispers, which is not obvious.

I think whispers are a complicated animal in post voting.
Our chronology changes depending on how stuff is sorted, where to show the whisper is going to be complicated.
I wonder if the simple fix here is to disable whispers on these topics.

Yes but that would mean disabling them almost completely on my site because by default I use post voting.

When there is only one post in the thread I expect to see the whisper below that post and if there are replies I expect post voting to activate the Activity button by default.
