# Waarom zegt de dropdown met subcategorieën "Geen subcategorieën" en toont vervolgens alle subcategorieën?

I find this a bit confusing.

When creating a new topic and picking the subcategory the drop down lists the subcategories correctly by says “No subcategories”. Is there a setting or something I can do to remove the “No subcategories” text?

For example,

When I create a new topic, I do not see the dropdown which you show in your screenshot. Is that a customization you have added?

I see the dropdown you shared above the topic lists. There I can use “no subcategories” to exclude topics from the subcategories

For example in the #Development category the topics in #dev:translations are excluded when I choose “no subcategories”
