# Why is "phpBB" censored?

I’ve just written the following in [php BB 3 Importer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/phpbb-3-importer/17397/81):

“php BB” (without the space) always gets censored. When I put it inside

 it gets even weirder: `phpBB`

Why does this happen?

Pretty sure it was added as a joke to try out the censoring feature (which was asked for by a customer).

… Yeah that might get annoying, guys

Because @eviltrout or some other member with admin access thought it would be fun to add phpbb to the filter list

Fun as it may be, I find it quite annoying in this case.  
Could you please remove it from the censored word? Thanks.

we changed it so phpbb is no longer censored.
