# Why the existing group is not showing up when creating the private categories?

Hi Folks,  
I have already created the group but when creating the **private category** for the group, in **security section** when we **edit permissions** the group name is not coming there.  
Can you please help me with this!!

And last thing is that how much time does it takes to reflect the group in security section after creating the group?

Hi! You just have to refresh the page in the browser

This issue has come up a few times. Would it be possible to allow the category security group dropdown to be automatically populated with new groups without requiring a page refresh?
