# Wordpress Groups Sync with Discourse

We are looking at implementing [DiscourseConnect](https://meta.discourse.org/t/13045?silent=true) so our members can log into our Wordpress site using their Discourse details.

Is there a way to:

- give a Discourse account Discourse Group access based on a Wordpress Group on their account?  
e.g. If User has the ‘Kitchen’ group against their wordpress account, give them ‘Food’ group access in Discourse.

- Remove Discourse Group access when a Wordpress group is removed from a user

- Use Wordpress Groups to assign Discourse Badges  
e.g If a user has the ‘Cake Baker’ group in Wordpress, they get the ‘Cake’ badge in Discourse
