# X/Twitter onebox caching question

I’m considering subscribing to the X API basic tier at 10k reads a month. In looking around it looks like discourse caches the onebox except if html is rebuilt or a rebake?

What I’d really like to do is cache any X/Twitter oneboxes permanently. Is that possible?

I’m pretty sure if I can do that I’ll be able to keep myself under the limit for forum activity and some of the other things I plan to develop.

Yes

No, but Discourse doesn’t usually issue full rebakes, so people are mostly safe.
