Hi. I’m new to Discourse and investigating its potential for a community forum. The option of a free version is welcome, especially to try it out and experience the basics of the platform.
A couple of questions, though, regarding the below…
Same usage limits as our Starter plan, except that you can have:
- Up to 10 categories
- No custom groups or private categories
- The Starter plan doesn’t seem to exist? the link on Starter plan takes me to the pricing page where the lowest offering is Pro at $100/month. Doesn’t sound much like a ‘starter’ to me! I really want to know what the usage limits are, not just the feature limits.
- ‘You can have upto 10 categories’…and I can choose what they’re called?
- ‘No custom groups or private categories’ … so what standard groups are available, if any? (private categories I assume to mean categories only viewable by a selection of members?)
- What is a Discourse Hosted LLM..? I have no idea what an LLM is!!
