I'm a developer by birth, you might say. I may not have realized it until my family got our first computer when I was about 12-13, but when that happened I was pretty much done with trying to decide what to do with my life. I've been coding ever since.

Community-wise my most active communities were the JavaGaming.org group for a number of years, followed by RoR communities on LinkedIn and G+.
