@justin announced changes to handling official #plugin topics:
Replies are automatically deleted after 30 days to keep conversations clean.
The team will monitor and split discussions into bug, #feature, and Support, or integrate documentation feedback.
Official plugin categories have been removed, and topics are now accessible via tags.
@Canapin pointed out inconsistencies in plugin topic formatting, making it difficult to find the plugin link. They suggested a convention where the link is always on the first line.
@justin acknowledged the suggestion and is considering a template for #plugin topics to ensure consistency.
All officialCustomization > Plugin topics now have replies automatically deleted after 30 days to keep those conversations clean.
Our team will keep watch on these topics and properly split discussions into Contribute > Bug, Contribute > Feature, and Support, or integrate documentation feedback into the original post for the plugin as needed. This will allow us to better track individual issues.
Official plugin categories have been removed. Those topics are now accessible via the official plugin tags found at Discourse Meta
Feel free to continue posting to the official plugin topics for feature requests, support, and bugs.
Each plugin presentation is written in a different way, depending in who wrote it.
As a result, I often find myself searching sometimes in the whole post for the actual plugin link.
