Custom Field for User Registration
cosmo is looking to add a custom field, specifically a “gender” radio button, to the user registration modal. They found a relevant discussion on meta.discourse.org, where codinghorror mentions that custom user fields are now possible, thanks to eviltrout’s addition of support. The feature can be accessed through the admin panel, under “customize” and “user fields”, as noted by cosmo.

Is it possible to add a custom field during user registration within the modal? I would like to add “gender” radio button for all users, which would be required for registeration.
It seems like this can be done, though I’m not very familiar with the code. Any suggestions best way to handle this?
