Unread counts out of sync?

I’m finding that, over the last few weeks at least, the unread count isn’t matching what I have unread. Here’s a few screenshots from today on our instance at https://discuss.elastic.co.

• Showing 1 unread on account icon, none in unread
  
  
• Showing 1 unread on account icon, but with details
  
  
• Refreshed and now showing unread count, but account icon showing none
  
  
• But when I click my account icon it’s showing the unread
  
  

I’m running Edge Version 100.0.1185.29 (Official build) (x86_64).

Bottom of topic shows "There is 1 unread remaining" when there are actually 0 unread topics remaining

Recently when reading a topic, when I scroll to the bottom of the topic I see “There is 1 unread remaining”. But when I click the link on “1 unread”, it turns out there are no unread topics remaining. I’ve been seeing this fairly often lately on https://community.wanikani.com, but I’m pretty sure I saw it once here on meta as well. We’ve received a few similar reports and we’re looking into it. We’ll get back with an update as soon as there’s some progress on this.
