I have the same interest. With the SocialHub, we need to follow both the ActivityPub and ActivityStreams repositories in Github and would like to know what it would take for this to happen. That would definitely reinforce Discourse role in the Fediverse developer community.
Also, as a side-effect, it would be interesting to evaluate integration with other forges, especially Codeberg.org (i.e., Gitea). Then we can find a way to fund the development of such changes.
