Can't Change homepage style through Wizard

AI-generated summary

Issue: The Discourse homepage style cannot be changed through the wizard.

Problem Description: Jack_Sparrow reported that after completing the wizard, the homepage style did not change from “Category only” to the selected style “Subcategories with featured topics”.

Temporary Solution: Jack_Sparrow found that changing the style through the desktop category page style setting resolves the issue.

Confirmation: awesomerobot confirmed the issue, stating that the wizard successfully switches between /latest and /categories as the homepage but does not change the /categories style.

Fix: A pull request to resolve the issue has been created by blake: https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/19462

so I visited example.com/wizard and, at step 3, clicked on “configured more”.

From the next page, I selected “Subcategories with featured topics” and clicked “next”. Then completed the wizard, but my homepage doesn’t change. It is still “Category only”.

I have fixed the problem by changing it from the setting desktop category page style

I think it is a bug that this would not change from the wizard. Wizard is suggested in this post,

I tried it out myself and can confirm the issue. I can successfully switch between /latest and /categories as a homepage with the wizard, but when I attempt to change the style of /categories it stays the same.
