A user, emilycook_circleci, reported that in the “Insert Date/Time” view’s advanced mode, the “Timezones to Display” section is truncated, making it difficult to see the listed timezones. They also suggested including major timezone abbreviations, such as EST and IST, some of which are missing. A developer, JammyDodger, acknowledged the issue and pmusaraj merged a fix that moves the timezones element higher up in the advanced modal to prevent overflow. The fix will be implemented next week. emilycook_circleci pointed out additional missing timezones, JST and KST, and was advised to create a separate topic for this issue.
When using advanced mode of the Date/Time inserter, the “Timezones to Display” view is truncated on the screen. It makes it impossible (literally, not figuratively) to see which timezones are listed, especially when using the search option.
Also, it would be nice if you included all of the major timezone abbreviations instead of just location-based. Some (such as EST and IST) seem to be missing.
That essentially moves the timezones element a bit higher up in the advanced modal so that when it expands it doesn’t overflow in the window. It should look like this from now on:
