Continuing the discussion from Adding 'anonymous*' to reserved_usernames blocks creation of 'AnonymousXX' name structure in Anonymous mode: If a user is able to call himself “Anonymous1000” and the latest automatic anonymous mode username is “Anonymous100”, what will be the next anonymous mode username? Anonymous101 or Anonymous1001? Linked with that, if it’s Anonymous101, I imagine that in due course the software would go straight from Anonymous999 to Anonymous1001 without there being any problems. Is that right?

It would be skipped and the next incremental available number would be used.

Thank you very much. Here is a related question: [imagem] Adding 'anonymous*' to reserved_usernames blocks creation of 'AnonymousXX' name structure in Anonymous mode Bug I’d like to prevent the word “Anonymous” being used in a username except for when created by Discourse’s anonymous mode. This wasn’t possible because of the problem noted above (i.e. preventing humans from using “Anonymous” also prevents Discourse’s anonymous mode from using it). But has it been changed since then?

Qual efeito um nome de usuário criado pelo usuário, como "Anonymous100", terá na próxima vez que usar modo anônimo?

Ele seria ignorado e o próximo número incremental disponível seria usado.
