There was a rake jobs:recalculate_trust_level_for_all_users, but it doesn’t seem to work anymore. Is there a method to recalculate all trust levels with ‘updated’ parameters? I changed the requirements of all of them, but users still remain on their previous trust level granted.

I couldn’t see the wood for the trees at first, but this is the one I was thinking of: [image]Administrative Bulk Operations Ensure all users are at their automatic trust level Say you set the default trust level for new or invited users to a value that isn’t working out quite the way you expected (such as TL4). Now you want to change it so your users are at the trust level they would be automatically, given their current stats. The following commands will ensure all users are at the trust level they should be according to Understanding Discourse Trust Levels. Note: users with locked trust-levels will not be affected. Make sure all users are set to the correct trust level: rails c User.all.find_each do |user| Promotion.recalculate(user) end Refresh the group stats to reflect the changes: Group.ensure_consistency!

How about this method? [image] Modify trust level for all users Self-Hosting Here’s an example of a bulk operation to set the trust level to 2 for all users currently at trust level 0 or 1: This is slow, but properly triggers all side effects (group membership updates, badge grants, and logging). It may be preferred especially when you have fewer than 1000 users. Note: this does not skip users with manually locked trust levels — add .where(manual_locked_trust_level: nil) to the query if you want to skip them. User.where(trust_level: [0, 1]).find_each do |user| user.… No. Perhaps not precisely what you’re after.

Thanks Jammy, it’s not what I’m looking for but I ended doing something similar. The issue is solved by workarounds
