Is there a reason why the checklist plugin isn’t a theme component? The plugin.rb file is virtually empty, and the logic is in the JS side of things: plugins/checklist/plugin.rb main # frozen_string_literal: true # name: checklist # about: Add checklist support to Discourse # version: 1.0 # authors: Discourse Team # meta_topic_id: 36362 # url: https://github.com/discourse/discourse/tree/main/plugins/checklist enabled_site_setting :checklist_enabled register_asset "stylesheets/checklist.scss" register_svg_icon "spinner" (That’s really all there is!)

Ah, that’s probably it. I wonder - why no “in-built” TCs in core ? (And if they were, where would they be? In the /themes directory?)

No, if we move TC to core, they would just live in the “normal” code. It’s not like plugins.

Por que o plugin checklist não é um Theme Component?

Não, se movermos o TC para o núcleo, eles apenas viveriam no código “normal”. Não é como plugins.
