Just a little something real quick. When I’m typing a message, I want to be able to use my keyboard only and not having to grab the mouse at each auto-complete contextual menu (@mention, #category, #tag, emojis). It breaks my flow. I expect to be able to navigate in the pop-up menu with the arrows like: Enter is “auto-complete with the selected item” arrow up and down navigate the items Sadly this doesn’t work. Is there a way to achieve keyboard navigation in contextual pop-up menus, and if not, could it be a :sparkles: feature request pl0x? xoxo

Right, here yes, not on the instance I administer. Discourse 3.4.7. Firefox on Ubuntu.

That will need some more debugging on your end I’m afraid. Does it work in safe-mode, to be absolutly sure it’s not caused by a TC/plugin Does it work on that instance in another browsers? Does it work on that instance in another operating system? Does it work if you update to latest? It clearly works in the core product.

Thanks for the answer! It actually works with Brave, so it seems to be browser-related. I’m gonna check with my host and come back to you.

Thanks for checking. I just checked Meta on firefox on my end, latest version, and MacOS 26.1 – and it still works there too.

Welp, it was config-specific, I restarted Firefox in failsafe mode and it worked, then switched back to normal mode and… it still works? Ahah good old ghost bugs… Closing the topic.
