Hi, I want only admins to be able to see the pencil icon and revision count for topics created on my site. I understand that you need to use CSS to do this. Please can you help with the CSS and where in the navigation I will find the field that I need to paste this into? Many thanks for your help. Bruce

Hi Bruce, you can set it so that users cannot see the post edits with the edit_history_visible_to_public setting but I think they can still see the pencil but not press it. If you’d like to hide it there are some helpful guides in #documentation such as this one. css guidance is a bit out of scope in the support category. You can right click > Inspect to find it, but here it is: .post-infos .edits { display: none !important; // You may not need '!important' here }

That’s great, ondrej. Thanks very much for your help.

I moved the permission to view Post edit history to staff after a couple of incidents. One user even posted “Well I see you edited your post, but I am flagging it as I saw what you posted prior to the edit”

There’s also this approach for the occasional single post: [imagem] Admin Editing user posts without showing the edit mark Support After editing the post, when viewing a given revision in the edit history, you can “Hide revision” to hide it from the history. This also hides the pencil if it’s the only revision the post had.

Yeah. You can do that when viewing revision as a mod/admin.

Sim. Você pode fazer isso ao visualizar a revisão como moderador/administrador.
