Thanks very much. That solved the problem. The only issue now is that when I edit my message both the message window and the composer panel show next to each other. How do I make it that only the composer panel shows while editing as default which was the way it was previously? Thank you. Tony

Preview panel always shows on desktop for markdown mode by default, but there a button on the bottom right. Hit that and it will toggle the preview off.

that’s not a standard feature? believe that is a theme component . In the base install, follow my instructions.

Peak mode is part of the Horizon theme, so it’s kind of default.
