Hey there @JuliusRa. There’s no need to keep Wordpress and Discourse usernames in sync. DiscourseConnect uses an external_id to match accounts from the provider (i.e. WP Discourse) with the Discourse account. In the case of WP Discourse that’s the Wordpress user id (not the Wordpress username).
