Continuing the discussion from Display real name instead of username in a quote?: I need for quotes to display the user real name exactly the same way that they are displayed in posts. In this image, “sam:” should be something like “Sam Saffron (sam):” [image] I think that this would be more consistent, but it matters only if you have meaningless usernames. My questions: Can I fix this with a theme or will it take a plugin? Can someone point me to a similar example? This seems like it should be trivial, but I’m lost on this end of things and don’t know where to start.

[imagem] Sam Saffron: Nope, not done, it is a somewhat involved change if we are to involve autocomplete popup and composer title and mentions I’m pretty sure this works now.

@codinghorror I wonder if we should switch quotes to full name when the site setting prioritise full name is enabled?

Sure if it is an easy change that is fine

We would absolutely like to see this feature implemented.

Did we ever actually do this @sam?

Não, não está concluído. É uma mudança um pouco complexa se formos envolver o popup de autocompletar, o título do compositor e as menções.
