A user asks how to post an article in English with a translation in another language, preferring manual translation over AI. NateDhaliwal responds by directing them to a guide on content localization, highlighting the ‘Manual’ section and the language switcher feature in the site header and topic timeline. The guide explains how to enable language switching for logged-in and non-logged-in users, and mentions that translations can be managed via a toggle in the site settings. The user can switch between languages using the language switcher in the topic timeline, and the original content is only visible when the language is switched back to English. The guide also notes that the language switcher is only visible to logged-in users unless the ‘Content localization language switcher’ setting is enabled.
I searched the knowledge base but I am totally lost. Please help.
I would like to post an article in English but have the same post in additional language. I will translate it by myself (I am not confident in AI translation and it is limited by time, old articles will not be translated according documentation).
So the scenario will be the following: user open an article in English, it has to be a button or some way on the interface to switch to another language and the article which I will translate should substitute article in English. Interface language can remain English but it will be nice also to switch.
