502 error while sending PM to 2800 users

Hi,

I get 502 error while sending PM to trust_level_0 users group at once. Almost 2800 users.

Any idea please.

Ubuntu, 4 GB ram, 2 core CPU

This isn’t really a supported scenario in Discourse. You shouldn’t be PM-ing all trust level 0 users. Put up a site banner or pinned topic…

If the plan is to send some information via emails, also remember you can customize email templates. You can add any text you want in these.

I’m the first to forget these possibilities but it can be helpful. And it gives users the option to unsubscribe, which is morally right also.
