Add Flair to existing group retrospectivly

I wanted a way to easily identify paid members vs free members on my forum.

After a little research, I found the option to automatically add “avatar flair” to groups.

This would be sufficient, so I’ve added a flair to an existing group - but none of the current member’s avatars have been updated.

Is there something I can do to force this through to existing group members?

Is the group setting

Automatically set as primary group

Checked? As in the checkbox is ticked?

Go to the group, manage → membership

Yes - same user in two groups with a flair.

There can only be one primary group. That is what the word primary means!
