My users are not aware of the fact that the draft for a new topic will be saved when closing the whole browser tab and re-accessing the forum again.
How about we add a ‘save draft’ button or text next to the “Create Topic” button? That way users can take full advantage of that.
No, I don’t support this. The more text and buttons you add to the screen, the worse the experience becomes for everyone.
How about add that option to the modal after hitting the cancel button on the editor?
I think there is already a visual indicator that the post text has been saved. There’s a check mark in the bottom of the compose panel that comes up whenever a save happens.
