I’d love to see some kind of user leaderboard option in the sidebar. I see that in other platforms like inSided:
And think it’s important as it highlights the Community members - and they are the MOST important thing in a Community.
In a different location than what you ask, but we do have an existing leaderboard plugin that can now be used as a widget in the right sidebar component.

That’s great, but would mean we need to have two sidebars - not sure how good a user experience that is.
What about something like https://source.checkmarx.com/ who have it in a component at the bottom?
Yeah, it’s an option if you don’t have the forever scroll topics on the home page.
Personally, I think the new sidebar would also be a nice place as in future more and more communities will start using it.
