In my profile I’ve configured German as my locale. However, when I split a topic it should post with the server’s locale (English in this case) instead of using mine.
Other moderator and admin actions have probably the same problem.

Sure feel free to assign this to yourself for September 1st start

This is now fixed. The system now always uses the default locale when a users splits a topic or changes the owner of a post.
