I’ve got the Categories page to show “Categories with Featured Topics” (Desktop category page style and Mobile category page style).
I’d like to try simplifying the top menu (top menu) so that it doesn’t have the “Latest” tab, but I run up against this error message:
top_menu: Top menu must include the ‘latest’ tab.
My thoughts so far are that
- The Categories page now shows some of the latest topics.
- On my forum it’s sufficient to visit the individual category pages to see the latest posts there.
- Logged-in users have the “New” tab (which I accept is different).
