My apologies. Looking over this. What I meant by extending block/mute user. Is add user name to a blocked word list. My theory is that maybe the user name being in:

So if for example added your username “asc” any post replies with the above will show as hidden.
Just to confirm the blocked word is not shown? Just a link to unhide post? Or can the watched word be overridden to not show blocked word?
If so then this would get closer to the more complete block that some users want.
