This works: https://meta.discourse.org/categories.json What error do you see in the logs? Does your site work in a browser? If GETting /categories.json` doesn’t work then something’s wrong with your development environment, I’d guess. We’ll need more info about what errors you see in the terminal …

Not trying to do anything special just call the API as it’s written in the docs via postman.

Can you load the page in your browser? My guess is that it’s a problem with postman
