It covers part of the messages. I guess its the viewport-fit=cover that is the isssue.

I think this mode is often used because the new iPhones is so wide in portrait mode
and is viewport-fit=cover really nesasary here? Without that Meta data part it would support those new iPhones in landscape.

When held landscape orientation, is there anything beneath the bezel that canβt be accessed short of changing orientation? If so, is it worth the trade off sacrificing some gutter space?
