Can I assign a particular post in a topic?
Example: I noticed that a post (and some of its replies) needs to be moved out into a separate topic, and I would like to assign that post to a particular moderator.
I think what to do is to move those posts to a new topic and then assign them.

That won’t work.
The task is to go through replies, pick what needs to be moved, and move altogether in one go. That is a piece of work that I’d like to assign to a mod before moving. If I do it on my own, then there won’t be any sense in assigning anymore.

Assign at the post level is completely out of scope, no plans to add this to the plugin.
