Associated Accounts are not visible on staff accounts?

Is there a reason why Associated Accounts are not shown on my own account, or on any other staff accounts? :thinking:

If I view a regular user at https://example.com/u/username-here/preferences/account I see an Associated Accounts section with a “Show” button:

And when I click the Show button I see all the available options:

However, when I view my own account preferences there is no sign or trace of the Associated Accounts section:

If I go to the Admin options for my own account, or any other staff user, I only have the option to delete all associated accounts, and no Connect option.

There’s probably a good reason for this behaviour, could anyone enlighten me please? :smiley:

Meaning I can’t easily or individually manage my own associated accounts – even though they’re mine :blush:

Do you use 2-factor authentication on your staff account?

Yes, it’s required on all staff accounts.

Is the use of 2FA what’s causing the associated accounts section to be hidden from the staff user preferences? :thinking:

I think so.

You could enable 2FA for your account here to verify.
