Attachments are not being saved in S3

I have S3 enabled and it works correctly for images and mp3 files, but if I upload a pdf or an unconventional audio extension (.oga), they get saved locally in /uploads/short-url/whatever.pdf.

Is this a bug or the intended behavior? If intended, is there a way to force all uploads to get saved in S3?

The upload is still on S3, that route is simply a redirect with a bit of magic. We do it for increased security, that way you need to be logged in to the forum and have access to the post to gain access to the download.
