Anyone else experiencing issues with letter avatars on their instance?
@mpalmer was making some changes, I do not know the current status.
No problems have been observed here at CDCK HQ for around an hour. Are you still seeing the problems now, and what exactly are they?
Saw this when I loaded a page a few minutes ago on Stonehearth:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 502 () https://avatars.discourse.org/v2/letter/y/9e8a1a/120.png
Also noticed it here on Meta when viewing this topic: https://meta.discourse.org/t/dns-error-for-autogenerated-links-and-uploaded-images/52942
In fact I’m still seeing it here right now!
OK, got a handle on it. Working on it now.
Found and fixed. Had a proxy server that got a case of amnesia about where its app backend lived. Treatment successful.
