no, this is on this website as well, all themes with circled avatars are affected.
No repro, I see no clipping on avatars. But note I am using the default theme here.
I see it. Light theme in Safari. Happens on the menu, too –

Specific to Mac safari? I don’t see it on iPhone. Maybe @awesomerobot can have a look.

Would you guesstimate it’s a 1 pixel crop?
I’m not seeing it with any of my browsers, but it sounds like the “one pixel rounding” quirk. eg. applying 50% to 45px, some browsers round down to 44px - it fits, others round up to 46px - doesn’t fit in a 45px containing element.

It only affects Safari on Mac.
iPhone is ok.
@codinghorror were you able to confirm the problem on Safari (Mac)?
I don’t own a Mac so nope.
