Avoid new topics in a specific category

Is there a way to lock some categories (and subcategories) so that only admins can post new topics, while users can just read or respond to them?

Sorry if this is already noted somewhere, I did my searching but couldn’t find it (and I get the feeling that it is probably super simple… :woman_facepalming:)

Yes, it is possible. You need to edit the category and change the security
